Green Feathers

Green Feathers turns a corner of the garden into an observation point. The company has been designing cameras for bird boxes and wildlife habitats since 2010 and has an office in Bristol. Its approach makes it possible to follow birds, hedgehogs, and other animals on a screen without staying beside the nest or shelter all day.

The first decision is how to view the images. WiFi cameras use the Green Feathers app on phones or tablets; other options include a dedicated screen or a cable connection to a television. The network range includes 4-megapixel models. These are different systems with specific accessories and connections, allowing a choice based on the installation site and the screen to be used.

The selection includes battery- and solar-powered WiFi cameras alongside equipment for bird boxes, feeders, and hedgehog shelters. Starter and Complete packs combine cameras, habitats, and accessories according to the product. The distinction between individual equipment and bundles helps separate a new installation from an expansion of a system already in use.

Habitats have their own variety. There are wooden bird boxes in different sizes, side-view versions, and models for tawny owls and kestrels. Bat boxes, hedgehog houses, and bug hotels extend the garden beyond birds. Rewilding kits and feeding stations are part of the same line.

Accessories include power supplies and cables, mounts, screens, networking, and memory. The offering also includes bird food, feeders, and observation equipment. Together, these make it possible to plan a project in stages: choose a habitat, select a compatible system, and bring together the components needed to view and record its activity.

A quiz guides camera selection, and the company offers guides, setup help, and an equipment setup service. Technical questions are handled by message or email separately from general phone support. Green Feathers therefore brings cameras and habitats together for discovering nearby wildlife from home, with alternatives for different spaces and ways of watching.
