Kellaway Building Supplies

Kellaway Building Supplies, building supplies for trade and DIY

Kellaway Building Supplies is a British company dedicated to the distribution of building materials and hardware, with a network of branches and an online store. Its catalogue is organised into major areas: building supplies, guttering and drainage, kitchen and bathroom, painting and decorating, garden design, workwear and PPE, tools, heating and plumbing, timber and joinery, roofing, lighting and electrical, fixings and hardware, as well as a offers section.

Two audiences: trade account and retail customer

The company distinguishes between trade and retail customers. For trade professionals, it offers the possibility of opening a trade account to place orders online or at any of its branches, manage orders, invoices and payments in real time, and download statements and documents. It also mentions an after-sales service with technical advice and product support. For the general public, the website presents purchasing as a DIY and renovation option, with click & collect or home delivery.

Click & collect and home delivery

The site describes two purchasing methods: collection from the nearest branch, for which it has a store finder, and home delivery, with specific delivery information. The company states that orders can be prepared for collection or delivery according to the customer's needs.

Employment and internal development

In the careers section, the company notes that it offers competitive salaries, employee discounts, pension plan, life insurance and an employee assistance programme focused on wellbeing. It adds that it is committed to training, professional development and apprenticeship programmes, and states that 87% of its senior management team has progressed within the company itself.

Presence in Bristol

The company operates several branches in the Bristol area, including Bedminster, Horfield and Lockleaze, each with its own opening hours. The website includes a store locator to find the nearest one.
