Stones Builders: comprehensive construction and refurbishment in East London

Stones Builders is a family-run construction and refurbishment company operating in East London with its headquarters in Brentwood. Founded by Jason Stones, the company has 28 years of activity in the sector, according to its own presentation. Its origins date back to the family carpentry workshop where Jason learned the trade alongside his father, George, and his brothers. The company defines itself as a full construction service, capable of handling everything from small maintenance tasks to comprehensive refurbishments, both interior and exterior.

Specialisation in carpentry and joinery

Stones Builders' trajectory is marked by precision carpentry. Jason Stones trained in the family workshop and in 1990, while studying for his advanced City and Guilds qualifications, received the Best Carpenter of the Year award at his college's annual ceremony, presented by a local baroness. His first job in East London, over 28 years ago, involved manufacturing and installing a kitchen for a local MP, which gave rise to a chain of recommendations among neighbours and acquaintances that, according to the company, has sustained its growth to this day. The firm maintains a specific bespoke joinery section, as well as working with doors, windows and bi-fold doors.

The firm describes itself as a family business with family values that works alongside a team of passionate and experienced builders. Among its stated principles are a commitment to the client to deliver the ideal home, the belief that the client's wishes are above any objection, and dedication to quality in the products installed. The company states that its story is also that of hundreds of clients each year.

Recognition and client relations

The website includes client testimonials highlighting kitchen transformations and the professionalism of the team. Stones Builders attributes its growth to word-of-mouth recommendations and explicitly thanks its clients for their trust and loyalty. The company presents itself as a benchmark in the construction sector in East London, a statement that corresponds to its own description and not to an independent evaluation.

The company handles enquiries through a form on its website and maintains separate phone lines for construction, refurbishment and 24/7 support. Its area of operation is focused on East London, although its administrative headquarters is in Brentwood.
