Skywizard

Skywizard, British travel agency specialising in unpublished air fares

Skywizard is the trading name of Midlands Travel Ltd., a travel agency based in Birmingham (United Kingdom). Its activity focuses on the brokerage of flights and hotel stays, with particular attention to fares that, according to its own website, are not found on the usual online channels. The company operates under the umbrella of Midlands Travel Ltd. and holds an IATA licence, as well as being part of a financial protection scheme for flights and flight-inclusive packages.

Flights: first class, business and premium class

The agency structures its flight offering into several cabins: first class, business, premium economy and economy class. Among the destinations it highlights are routes from London to Bangkok, Singapore, San Francisco, Harare, Montego Bay, Los Angeles, Abu Dhabi, Manila, Cape Town and Kingston. The website also mentions flights to Tokyo in business, premium economy or first class, with flexible deposit options and a price match guarantee if the customer finds a better fare.

The site warns that some fares are not available online and that the agency has offline fares that cannot be advertised on the website, so bookings are handled through its experts.

Hotels and holiday packages

In addition to flights, Skywizard sells accommodation in destinations such as Las Vegas, Bangkok, Dubai, Singapore and Montego Bay. The website describes hotel offers with discounts, secure payments and financial protection, and mentions a six-night package at the Andaz Dubai The Palm by Hyatt with direct Emirates flights from London Heathrow. It also includes a section on popular destinations with holiday packages in Thailand from the United Kingdom.

Audience and complementary services

The agency states that it has special offers for students and senior travellers, and that on certain flights it includes complimentary checked baggage and a free upgrade to premium economy. Among the payment facilities, the website mentions the possibility of financing the booking with Klarna when available during the purchase process.

Financial protection and licences

Skywizard operates as the trading name of Midlands Travel Ltd. (company registration number 14858161, VAT number 503686784, IATA licence 91206290). The company declares that all flights and flight-inclusive packages advertised on its website are financially protected, and it is listed as a member of Protected Trust Services (PTS), which offers trust account protection. The website also mentions ATOL protection.
