Carpet Trader Bicester

Carpet Trader Bicester, flooring specialist in Oxfordshire

Carpet Trader Bicester is a family-run business based in Bicester (Oxfordshire) dedicated to the sale and installation of flooring. The company presents itself as a specialist in product selection, design and installation, and serves both domestic and commercial customers across Oxfordshire, Buckinghamshire and Northamptonshire. Its catalogue covers carpets, luxury vinyl tiles (LVT), wood and laminate, carpet tiles, non-slip safety flooring, artificial grass, accessories and underlay.

Products and brands in the catalogue

The range is organised by product type and by room. Categories include carpets, carpet tiles, luxury vinyl tiles, wood and laminate, safety flooring, artificial grass, accessories and underlay. The selection by room includes kitchen, lounge, bedroom, stairs and landing, bathroom and entrance. The company works with the brands Amtico and Karndean, which appear as featured partners, and also mentions other flooring brands.

Services: measuring, quotation and installation

Carpet Trader offers a free measuring and quotation service, and has its own team of installers, which allows it to control the project from start to finish. The company states that it price matches any local competitor's quotation on a like-for-like basis. It also offers removal and disposal of existing flooring for an additional charge that varies according to the size and type of material, with no profit margin according to its own explanation, as it covers labour and waste management. For installation, the company offers a secure key drop system at its showroom, so the customer does not need to be present during the works. Customers can remove the old flooring themselves or let the team do it. For safety and liability reasons, the team does not move electrical appliances or personal belongings.

Customers and areas of application

The company distinguishes between domestic, commercial and rental use, including landlords and tenants and houses in multiple occupation (HMO). This segmentation appears both in its catalogue and in the measuring and quotation services.

History and team
