Chris Nicholson trained as an independent mortgage broker after completing a degree in Business Administration at the University of Plymouth and working for several companies in the financial sector, including Barclays, Allied Dunbar and Prudential. He grew up in the village of Blagdon in the Mendip Hills, and lives and works in Weston village on the outskirts of Bath.

The firm went from arranging ten mortgages in its first year to 168 in 2024. The company attributes this growth to its founder's work ethic and a down-to-earth, friendly approach, with the same level of service for all clients.

Community commitment

Outside of financial services, Chris Nicholson has run the Weston Litter Group since 2010 and is an active Keep Britain Tidy ambassador and member of the #NoPlaceForLitter steering group. In 2022 he launched an annual event, The Great Avon River Pick, in which community groups collected over 150 bags of litter between Brislington and Bradford-on-Avon.
