Vax

Vax, over four decades of floorcare equipment

Vax is a British company that designs and sells vacuum cleaners, carpet cleaners, steam cleaners, hard floor cleaners and air purifiers. The company presents its track record as a guarantee of continuous research and development, with over 40 years of experience in the sector, and describes its range as multifunctional, technologically advanced products, without frills or gimmicks.

Home cleaning range

The range is organised into several product families. Vacuum cleaners include cordless, corded, pet hair-specific and handheld models. Carpet cleaners cover manual versions, pet models and models with accessories for carpets, upholstery and cars. It also sells spot cleaners, hard floor cleaners — including steam cleaners and cordless floor cleaners — and a line of cleaning solutions for carpets, wooden floors, hard surfaces and multi-layer floors, as well as accessories such as batteries, chargers, filters and spare parts.

Among the models featured on the site are the MAXClean range, presented as the carpet cleaner that delivers maximum cleaning with minimum effort; the LiftOut Multi Pet-Design corded upright vacuum cleaner; the SpotWash in Home and Max Pet-Design & Car versions; the Platinum Power Max Pet-Design and the Platinum SmartWash XL Advanced, both carpet cleaners; and the ONEPWR Glide 2 cordless hard floor cleaner. The catalogue shows prices and discounts that vary by product and current promotion.

Direct purchase and service conditions

The company sells through its official website and offers free next-day delivery on orders that include a machine, provided they are placed before 22:00 Monday to Saturday and delivered to mainland England; bank holidays are excluded. It also offers Klarna instalment payments in three interest-free instalments for purchases over £99, subject to conditions and available only to UK residents aged 18 or over. The company states a warranty of up to six years on certain products, according to its terms and conditions.

Awards and customer ratings

Vax presents itself as the UK's most trusted carpet cleaner brand, an accolade it attributes to a 2025 BrandSpark International study based on the opinions of British shoppers. At the time of analysis, its page showed a rating of 4.7 out of 5 on Trustpilot, and several of the featured models had scores between 4.6 and 4.8 out of 5 with hundreds or thousands of reviews.

Customer service and support

The site has product support and customer service sections, and publishes a contact phone number for the UK. Its activity is aimed at the British market, as confirmed by the national domain, the pound sterling in prices and the shipping and financing conditions limited to the UK.
