Trade-in and recycling programme

The company runs a trade-in programme that allows customers to get credit when handing in an old robot of the brand upon purchasing a new Roomba or Braava model. The process includes estimating the credit, sending in the used robot and verifying the model to receive the amount. iRobot also offers resources and information on electronics recycling, including the option to donate devices that do not meet the programme requirements.

Purchasing and warranties

The online store offers free shipping on orders over £50, a two-year limited warranty, a 30-day money-back guarantee and customer service. The robots are compatible with voice assistants such as Alexa, Siri and Google Assistant. The company also has a mobile app for controlling the devices.

The site showed an autumn promotion with discounts on several models, such as the Roomba Max 875 Combo, whose price was reduced from £1,099 to £899, or the Roomba Plus 415 Combo, from £449 to £279.
