Brand history

Blomberg's origins date back to 1883, when Bernhard Blomberg founded the brand in Germany. Its initial activity focused on metallurgy and the manufacture of quality metal products. In 1935 the company moved from metallurgy to appliance manufacturing. In 1979 it introduced its first washing machine with exterior balance control and in 1981 it produced the first fully automatic washing machine. In 2004 the brand was relaunched internationally with an expanded range and in 2009 it renewed its catalogue with a second generation of products. In 2010 it arrived on the British market.

Guarantees and product registration

The brand offers a standard three-year repair guarantee for all its appliances. Its built-in range and selected freestanding models are eligible for an extended five-year guarantee; to activate the additional two years you must register the appliance within 90 days of purchase. The company recommends registering all its products to receive updates or repair information.
