Tiger Tyres

Tiger Tyres, mobile tyre fitting throughout the UK

Tiger Tyres is a British company dedicated to the supply and fitting of tyres for cars, vans and 4x4 vehicles. Its approach combines tyre sales with installation, which can be carried out mobile — the fitter goes to the location specified by the customer — or at a centre in the network. The company states it operates over 150 vans and 400 depots across the country, allowing it to serve orders anywhere in the UK.

The site allows searching by tyre size by entering width, profile and diameter, as well as postcode, and offers a catalogue of the main brands on the market. The company claims over 25 years of service in the country.

Catalogue and search by size

The online shop organises tyre selection around three technical parameters: width, profile and diameter, plus speed rating. The search tool accepts widths from 7 to 750, profiles from 40 to 80 and diameters of 15, 16, 17 and 19 inches. Among the speed ratings included are Q (99 mph / 160 km/h), H (130 mph / 210 km/h), V (149 mph / 240 km/h), W (168 mph / 270 km/h) and Y (186 mph / 300 km/h).

The catalogue includes the brands Avon, Bridgestone, Continental, Dunlop, Firestone, Goodyear, Michelin and Pirelli, presented as "all major brands available". The company also handles orders from corporate clients.

Technical information for drivers

Beyond sales, the site devotes an extensive section to educational content about tyres. Topics covered include aspect ratio, load indices, production processes, low profile tyres, tyre rotation, safety tips, tyre wall notation, spare tyre, speed rating, tread depths, tread patterns and up-stepping.

Ordering and customer testimonials

The purchase process is described as simple: the user enters the size and postcode, or contacts by phone. The website collects customer reviews from platforms such as Review Centre, Trustpilot and Reviews.co.uk, highlighting the speed of response after ordering, the fitter's punctuality and the price-service relationship. Several testimonials mention that the fitting appointment was arranged for the day after purchase.
