The Vehicle & Sunroof Repair Specialist

The Vehicle & Sunroof Repair Specialist: sunroof repairs and vehicle servicing in Wales

The Vehicle & Sunroof Repair Specialist is a family-run workshop based in Ammanford, Wales, serving motorists from Swansea, Cardiff and other locations across the UK. The company presents itself as one of the few sunroof specialists in the country and combines that specialisation with general vehicle servicing and diagnostics.

Sunroof specialisation

The workshop focuses much of its activity on sunroof systems. Its range of services includes repairing faulty sunroofs, fixing water leaks, professional glass replacement, correcting mechanical issues, frame repairs and work on shattered or broken sunroofs. The company explains that leaks can be caused by design faults or blockages in drainage systems, as well as issues with roof rails or cassettes, whose bonded joints can also fail.

In addition to repairs, the workshop sells reconditioned sunroof cassettes and parts, with a full installation service. It also states that it rebuilds sunroof motors of any type that have been damaged during operation.

Vehicle servicing and diagnostics

Alongside its sunroof speciality, the company carries out car servicing and repairs and diagnostics using equipment it identifies as Autel and Delphi. The diagnostic service is aimed at quickly and accurately resolving warning lights on the dashboard. The company notes that it uses genuine main dealership parts when required and that its rates can save up to 50% compared to main dealership prices.

Customers and coverage

The workshop serves private motorists, company vehicle owners and fleet operators. It states that it assists main dealerships across the country and considers mobile work where viable. Its coverage area includes Wales, Swansea, Cardiff and nearby areas, with customers also coming from Birmingham, Bristol, Doncaster, Leicester, Lincoln, Newark and Sheffield, among other locations in the UK.

Background and working method

The company describes itself as an independent business with over a decade of experience. Its origins date back to motorcycle and quad bike repairs, from which it expanded its skills to cover different types of vehicles. That background is the foundation of the services it currently offers. The workshop presents itself as an experienced team willing to adapt its way of working to each customer's needs.
