McMichaels is a consumer electronics and appliance retailer with a presence in Alloa and Tillicoultry, in Central Scotland. The company presents itself as a Sony Centre and Euronics dealer, and its business combines in-store sales with a delivery and installation service in the region. According to its own website, the firm was founded in 1910.

Televisions and audio

The television range is organised by brand (Sony, Samsung, TCL and LG), by screen size —from the 32"-43" bracket up to 75"-100" and larger models— and by panel technology, with RGB Mini LED, QD-OLED and OLED options. In the audio and home cinema section there are soundbars, including the Sonos range, as well as turntables, Bluetooth speakers and headphones.

Laundry, refrigeration and cooking

The laundry range includes washing machines —freestanding and integrated—, tumble dryers (heat pump, condenser, vented and integrated), washer dryers and dishwashers, both freestanding and integrated. In refrigeration, the store sells fridges, freezers (including chest and integrated models), fridge freezers and American fridge freezers, as well as wine fridges. The cooking area covers single and double ovens, built-under double ovens, hobs, cookers, range cookers and microwaves.

Floorcare and small appliances

The floorcare section brings together cordless vacuums —with a strong presence of Dyson—, upright vacuums, cylinder vacuums and handheld vacuums. Among the small appliances are air fryers, kettles and toasters, and the website also has a clearance section.
