LB Maths Tuition

Online maths tuition for students aged 11 to 19

LB Maths Tuition is an online maths tutoring service led by Luke, a qualified teacher with over ten years of experience. The growing team consists of university tutors who provide support and reinforcement classes to students aged between 11 and 19. All tuition takes place entirely online, via Microsoft Teams or Zoom.

Educational levels covered

The offering covers the main levels of the British system:

• Key Stage 3: expands on primary school maths fundamentals and introduces concepts such as algebra, geometry, statistics, and probability.
• GCSE: preparation for the compulsory exam, covering algebra, geometry, trigonometry, statistics, and probability, aimed at improving mathematical understanding and problem-solving in real-world contexts.
• A-Level and Further Maths: in-depth study of calculus, algebra, trigonometry, and statistics, with the additional option of Further Mathematics for students with a particular interest.

Teaching formats and teaching team

The service adapts to different needs and budgets. One-to-one sessions with Luke, classes with university tutors, small groups (maximum six students), and structured mock exams are offered. Weekly or fortnightly sessions are recommended. All tutors are DBS certificated and insured.
