Visit Dubai

Visit Dubai, the emirate's official tourism guide

Visit Dubai is the official tourism portal of Dubai, presented as an initiative of the Government of Dubai. The site works as a destination guide: it gathers information about the city and its surroundings and organises it into themed sections so visitors can plan their trip. The platform allows users to create an account to save favourites and receive personalised recommendations, and offers the interface in several languages, including English.

What to find in the guide

The content is structured around several blocks. The things to do section covers arts and culture, experiences, food and drink, new and trending, shopping, sights and attractions, and wellness. The guide also includes an interactive map to locate nearby events, attractions and restaurants, and a section dedicated to Dubai's neighbourhoods, presenting each district with its own identity.

Dining features prominently: restaurants, recent openings, pop-up dinners and limited-time events, homegrown restaurants and local favourites, the Michelin Guide Dubai selection, dining deals to book a table, and unique experiences such as underwater tables or sky-high views. Emirati cuisine is also covered.

Events and festivals

The Dubai Calendar brings together the schedule of concerts, festivals and activities. Events listed include the Dubai Comedy Festival, the Dubai Fitness Challenge — thirty minutes of exercise for thirty days —, concerts by Najwa Karam, Sonny Fodera and Richard Marx, the Summer in Nashville festival and the God Save the Queen show. The programme is completed with family-friendly events, live entertainment and sports events.

Trip planning

The guide gathers practical resources to prepare a visit: information on visas, flights, accommodation, getting to and around the city, safety, weather, currency — the dirham, with exchange rates and tips — and accessibility for travellers with special needs. Dubai attractions passes with pre-paid access and mobile apps with attractions, events and itineraries are also included.

Deals and featured content

The site publishes deals on attractions, dining, shopping and hotels, and includes a preview of Dubai's new hotels and their upcoming openings in 2026. Promotional content includes a collaboration with Real Madrid to uncover the city's top attractions, wedding and celebration ideas in the destination, and escapes to Hatta and Al Marmoom. The guide also maintains a travel advisory and a selection of 99 things to do in Dubai.
