Unique Aesthetics: premium wall art from Dubai

Unique Aesthetics is an online store based in Dubai dedicated to selling premium wall art. Its catalogue brings together canvases, framed paintings and modern art prints, and presents itself as the only non-generic art catalogue in the United Arab Emirates. The firm combines the sale of works from its own collection with a bespoke design service aimed at homes, hotels and interior design professionals.

The catalogue is organised by subject, colour, style and orientation. Subjects include abstract, animal, architecture, botanical, desert, Dubai, floral, geometric, horses, landscape, Middle East chronicles, minimalism, nature, people & portraits, seascape, still life and surreal. The palette ranges from black and white to gold, including blues, greens, pinks, purples, reds and yellows. In terms of styles, works offered include abstract art, black & white paintings, contemporary minimalist art, colourful paintings, geometric art, impressionism, pop art, surreal art and the Master's Reimagined line. Available orientations are square, vertical and horizontal.

Master's Reimagined: reinterpretations of great masters

The Master's Reimagined collection is one of the company's hallmarks. Its in-house designers study the brushwork, palette and spirit of each master to compose entirely original works that bring that vision to Dubai. The firm insists that these are not reproductions or prints of the originals, but new paintings created in the language of an old master. The collection includes references to Andy Warhol, Brice Marden, Claude Monet, Ellsworth Kelly, Henri Matisse, Hilma af Klint, Jackson Pollock, Jean-Michel Basquiat, Joan Mitchell, Pablo Picasso, Piet Mondrian, Salvador Dalí and Van Gogh. Some examples cited by the company are the Van Gogh x Dubai series, the interpretation of Monet's water lilies moved to the top of the Burj, and Picasso's cubism reinterpreted in an Arab key.
