Facial Plastic Surgery in Istanbul with Dr. Görkem Atsal

Dr. Görkem Atsal is a facial plastic surgeon practicing in Istanbul, focusing on facial rejuvenation and cosmetic surgery of the face, neck, and nose. His profile highlights European Board certification and a practice oriented toward natural results, with personalized care for both domestic and international patients.

Deep Plane Facelift and Neck Lift

The main technique the surgeon himself identifies as his specialty is the deep plane facelift. Unlike facelifts that act only on the skin, this method repositions the deeper layers—muscle and fat—to achieve a more durable and harmonious result. The site indicates that it is especially effective for sagging cheeks, jowls, and pronounced nasolabial folds. A deep neck lift is also offered to address sagging skin and neck muscles, as well as a mini facelift for those seeking subtle improvement with shorter recovery.

Ultrasonic Rhinoplasty and Other Nasal Surgeries

Dr. Atsal performs primary, revision, and ethnic rhinoplasty. For bone reshaping, he uses ultrasonic rhinoplasty, a technique that employs high-frequency ultrasonic waves instead of chisels and hammers, which according to the site's information reduces trauma to soft tissues, decreases bruising and swelling, allows greater precision and symmetry, and shortens recovery. The piezoelectric and drill system used is FDA-approved, as mentioned in the material.

Complementary Facial Procedures

The catalog of interventions also includes the following procedures:

• Temporal lift (fox eyes and brow lift)
• Upper and lower blepharoplasty
• Lip lift
• Otoplasty (ear correction)
• Chin implant
• Dimple surgery (dimpleplasty)
• Buccal fat removal (bichectomy)
• Facial liposuction for jowls and jawline contouring

International Patients and Medical Tourism

The site devotes a section to medical tourism and notes that many international patients choose Turkey, and Istanbul in particular, for the combination of medical standards, advanced techniques, and competitive prices. The clinic states that it offers comprehensive care packages that include accommodation and VIP services, and that the team accompanies the patient throughout the entire process. The material mentions that free consultations are offered.

Publications and Educational Topics

The site's blog covers topics such as facelift surgery in Turkey, medical tourism in Istanbul, patient safety in outpatient cosmetic surgery, trends in personalized facial plastic surgery, and guides for patients considering surgery abroad.
