Hotel Midtown Ratsada

A four-star Ratsada Road hotel with a pool and varied room layouts for an old-town stay in Phuket.

About Hotel Midtown Ratsada

Midtown Ratsada occupies a site with several chapters in Phuket's history. It began as a workshop serving the tin-mining industry and later became part of a commercial complex that housed Phuket Shopping Centre in 1985. Opened in December 2022, the hotel preserves that connection to the trading town through its décor and memories of the former mall.

Room choice makes a meaningful difference here. Standards measure 23 m², while the 28 m² Deluxe options offer either a bay window or a balcony overlooking the pool. The 38 m² Executive Triple suits three travellers; the 45 m² Junior Suite separates living and sleeping areas. Bathrooms have showers rather than bathtubs.

Midtown Cafe still contains pillars that once supported the mall's escalator, a small piece of local history to notice over a meal before exploring Ratsada Road. A 14-metre pool and compact gym provide downtime during an old-town stay, and guest parking is free. This is a city base, not a beach hotel.
