About DeeMoney

DeeMoney: international transfers from Thailand

DeeMoney is a Thai fintech specializing in sending money abroad. It operates under the legal name Sawasdeeshop Co., Ltd and uses the trade name DeeMoney. The company began operations in 2017, when it obtained from the Bank of Thailand the non-bank international remittance service license, the electronic payment service license, and the authorized money changer license.

Its offering is built around fast transfers, competitive exchange rates, and transparent fees, with customer support available seven days a week. According to data published by the company itself, 91% of transfers are completed within 24 hours and the platform serves over 80 countries through more than 70 partners.

Services for individuals and businesses

The platform distinguishes two user profiles. For individuals, it is aimed at those working overseas or needing to pay taxes, mortgages, or bills in another country. For businesses, it allows receiving payments, paying salaries, invoices, or suppliers, with the stated goal of reducing costs, saving time, and improving efficiency.

Available features include real-time exchange rate checks, fee comparison, transfer tracking with live updates, and the ability to set up recurring transfers in just a few steps. The company also offers a mobile app to manage transactions from your phone, available on the App Store and Google Play, as well as a web portal.

Company evolution

The company was founded by Aswin and Rasmegh with the aim of offering ethical and low-cost financial solutions. In July 2018 it launched its app with a flat fee that, according to its presentation, was an industry first in Thailand.

In 2023 it established direct connections with major Thai banks, expanded its presence in key corridors, and signed strategic partnerships to facilitate access to Myanmar. In 2024 it strengthened its infrastructure with a direct connection to KTB. In 2025 it adopted the ISO 20022 standard, launched new solutions, and opened two new branches in Bangkok.

Today, the company states it connects over 80 countries through more than 70 partners and has surpassed $6 billion in total processed volume, positioning it, according to its own description, as Thailand's largest cross-border payments platform.
