African Scenic Safaris
Moshi operator founded in 2009, planning private Tanzania safaris, family journeys, and Kilimanjaro and Mount Meru climbs.
About African Scenic Safaris
Simbo Natai worked as a safari and mountain guide before creating African Scenic Safaris in 2009. From a small office in Moshi, Tanzania, he assembled a team to organize wildlife journeys and Kilimanjaro climbs. The company retains those two areas, with private travel and programs adjusted to dates, interests, and accommodation preferences.
Safaris can combine Serengeti, Ngorongoro, Tarangire, and Lake Manyara, alongside southern and western Tanzania circuits. The range includes family trips, honeymoons, and migration-focused routes. Published programs are starting points: parks can change, days can be added, and camps or accommodation categories can be adjusted.
Land Cruisers with pop-up roofs support wildlife viewing. Field guides, drivers, cooks, and logistics staff participate according to the program. Planning connects the route with seasons and wildlife activity without turning the presence of a particular animal into a guaranteed sighting.
Kilimanjaro climbs offer different routes. Lemosho uses a western approach and an eight-day program; Machame offers seven days on a demanding route. Rongai approaches from the north, while Northern Circuit follows a longer itinerary around the mountain. Choosing a route distinguishes approaches and acclimatization time as well as the number of days.
Mount Meru and the Twin Peak option expand the mountain offering. Preparation guides cover packing, training, route comparisons, and altitude-related topics. The reservations team organizes participant numbers, accommodation type, and duration so safari and trekking proposals address different needs.
Responsible tourism is another part of the project. The company documents work with porter support, conservation, and sustainability organizations, alongside community activities. It publishes information about waste reduction and reusable bottles. These practices form part of trip organization and appear alongside routes and services, with a team dedicated to sustainability inquiries.
The contact base is at Farm 21, Plot B/147-2, Moshi. Inquiries are handled directly from Tanzania and can focus on families, couples, solo travelers, or groups. African Scenic Safaris combines nature, mountains, and cultural encounters through a route prepared with its team, maintaining a clear distinction between days observing wildlife and progress on foot along a high-altitude trail.
