Bürgenstock Resort Lake Lucerne is a luxury holiday destination located in Obbürgen, in the Swiss canton of Nidwalden, on the shores of Lake Lucerne and facing the Alps. The complex spans over 60 hectares and presents itself as a hospitality legend whose history dates back to 1873.

The resort has twelve restaurants, lounges and bars. The list includes Spices Kitchen & Terrace, Oak Grill & Pool Patio, Verbena by Christian Scharrer, Lakeview Bar, Parisa — Persian cuisine —, Restaurant Taverne, Osteria Alpina and Terrazza. The offering ranges from signature fine dining to Persian, Italian and grill cuisine, with terrace and bar spaces.

Spas and wellness

The complex has two destination spas: the Bürgenstock Alpine Spa and the Waldhotel Spa. In addition, there is the Private Alpine Spa, the suites with private spa and the Waldhotel Private Spa Suite, as well as the CASCAS salons. The wellness offering is completed by yoga classes and an activities programme.

Activities, sports and leisure

Among the available facilities and experiences are the Diamond Domes tennis courts, the Bürgenstock Alpine Golf course, the Hammetschwand Lift panoramic elevator, the Bürgenstock Cinema and the funicular. The resort also organises scheduled activities and culinary events under the Chefs United format, with chef Wehrle and other guests.

Events, weddings and meetings

The resort offers 35 event spaces with capacity for conferences of more than 600 guests. The offering includes Event Domes, meeting rooms and specific wedding services, with request forms for each type of celebration.
