About The Tschuggen Collection
The Tschuggen Collection: four luxury hotels in Switzerland
The Tschuggen Collection brings together four hotel properties in three Swiss destinations: Ascona, Arosa and St. Moritz. The collection presents itself as a group of hotels that are distinct from one another, united by a standard of quality, innovation and first-class service. Its locations range from the shores of Lake Maggiore to the alpine forests of Arosa and the heights of St. Moritz.
The collection's four hotels
Each property maintains its own identity within the group:
- Hotel Eden Roc (Ascona): set on the shores of Lake Maggiore and framed by mountains with Italian influence, it is described as Switzerland's finest waterfront garden and the country's only true beach resort.
- Tschuggen Grand Hotel (Arosa): located on the mountainside, on the edge of the Arosa forest, it combines nature and iconic modernity. It is home to the award-winning Tschuggen Bergoase Spa and the Mountain Lofts, a new accommodation concept at over 1,800 metres above sea level, with five-star services.
- Valsana Hotel (Arosa): described as a gateway between the village and the Arosa forest, it serves as a base for mountain sports, year-round adventure and relaxation. It has received two Michelin Keys according to the Michelin Guide.
- Carlton Hotel (St. Moritz): presented as St. Moritz's most refined hideaway, perched high above the lake.
Dining and gastronomic accolades
The gourmet restaurant La Brezza, with two Michelin stars and 19 GaultMillau points, operates at the Hotel Eden Roc in summer and at the Tschuggen Grand Hotel in winter. Its Executive Chef, Marco Campanella, aged 32, was named "Chef of the Year 2025" by GaultMillau Switzerland. At the Carlton Hotel, the Da Vittorio restaurant reopened with a design by Carlo Rampazzi. The Tschuggen Grand Hotel also has The Basement, a space that combines traditional cuisine with modern alpine gastronomy.
Wellness, sport and facilities
The Moving Mountains programme is defined as a holistic lifestyle offering aimed at restoring vitality, reconnecting with nature and celebrating joy. The Tschuggen Grand Hotel has a remodelled gym with Technogym equipment. The skiing offering is based on the 225 kilometres of pistes of Arosa Lenzerheide, with ski passes included in certain stays.
Sustainability
The Tschuggen Grand Hotel, the Carlton Hotel and the Hotel Eden Roc have been recognised as Sustainability Leaders by The Leading Hotels of the World.
