Stockholm Nature

Kayaking, hiking, and cycling around Stockholm and its archipelago, with small groups, private programs, and equipment rentals.

About Stockholm Nature

Stockholm Nature introduces the Stockholm area through outdoor activities organized since 2017. Its selection connects the city, forests, and archipelago through kayaking, hiking, cycling, and boating. Regular outings use small groups, generally eight to ten participants depending on the activity, with local guides and a pace adapted to the group.

Hiking options include a sunset outing in Tyresta National Park, advertised between April and October and lasting four and a half hours. Nacka Nature Reserve has a five-hour itinerary offered year-round. These two programs distinguish a seasonal excursion from an option available at other times of year.

On the water, the selection includes kayaking around the city and archipelago. The winter program is advertised from October to April and lasts three hours. A two-hour RIB speedboat outing runs between April and November, while city bicycle tours are scheduled between April and October.

The company provides instructions for participants with limited experience and adjusts the pace during activities. Programs offer vegetarian, vegan, and gluten-free meal options, and public transportation is used where possible. Rentals of camping equipment, stand-up paddleboards, and kayaks expand the offering for outings organized in other ways.

Private programs allow customized routes and schedules in the city and archipelago. The organizer also works with schools, families, friends, and companies, including team activities and groups of up to one hundred participants in specific programs. This operates on a different scale from regular outings and coordinates group days without conflating them with the usual small-group format.
