About the portal

Aragón Cambio Climático is the Government of Aragon's climate-action portal. It brings together the regional strategy, mitigation and adaptation plans, a document observatory and a calendar of climate-related events.

Areas of work

  • Governance: strategy, pillars and targets, including the Aragon Climate Council and Interdepartmental Climate Change Commission.
  • Adaptation: grants; the Patios X El Clima program, with rules, project map and selected centers for 2025/26; health; tourism; the Covenant of Mayors; and PIMA and LIFE Pyrenees4Clima plans.
  • Mitigation: European Union commitments, Aragon's greenhouse-gas inventory, carbon footprinting, CO2 offsetting and energy management.
  • Ecosystems and biodiversity, low-carbon energy, transport and mobility, decarbonisation of towns and cities, circular economy, the agri-food system, and reductions in waste and emissions.

Observatory and resources

The site maintains a library of documents, resources and useful links and publishes news on climate, drought, extreme temperatures and the energy transition in Aragon and Europe.

Aragón Climate Week

The portal organises Aragón Climate Week and archives annual programs from 2021 to 2025. It also records events including the fourth Patios X El Clima meeting, held on 20 October 2025 at Zaragoza Aquarium's auditorium, and the annual CitiES 2030 meeting in Madrid.
