Bilingual education in Zaragoza

Colegio Sagrado Corazón de Jesús is a bilingual state-subsidized private school in Zaragoza and part of Fundación Educativa Sofía Barat (FESB). It offers early childhood education, elementary school, compulsory secondary education (ESO), and high school, with a program combining individual advising, bilingual instruction, and digital education.

Languages and certifications

Through Best Way, it organizes summer camps, exchanges across Europe, and language-immersion trips abroad.

Services and activities

Early drop-off begins at 7:30 a.m., and the dining hall is open from 12:30 to 3:30 p.m. Extracurricular options include music school, robotics, speech development, Atreyu youth club, Pirineos sports association, volunteering, and programs that develop students’ abilities.

Facilities

The campus has spacious grounds and modern classrooms equipped with technology. The playground includes a climbing wall, artificial turf, a sandbox, and several play areas.

School-day schedules

• Early childhood: 9 a.m.–12:30 p.m. and 3:30–5 p.m.
• Elementary: 9 a.m.–12:30 p.m. and 3:30–5 p.m.
• Secondary: 8:15 a.m.–2:15 p.m., Monday through Friday.
• High school: first year, 8:15 a.m.–2:15 p.m., except Mondays and Wednesdays until 3:10 p.m.; second year, 8:15 a.m.–2:15 p.m., except Mondays until 3:10 p.m.

Uniform

Uniforms are required through the second year of secondary school. They are available online or at La Canastilla, Calle Ildefonso Manuel Gil 27, entrance at Vicente Aleixandre 25, 50018 Zaragoza.
