About Obón Turlán y Asociados

Family-business and small-business advice

Obón Turlán is an advisory and administrative services firm in central Zaragoza, on Coso. Founded by Tomás Obón in 1970, it has been led by the family’s second generation since 2002. For more than five decades, the firm has retained the same ownership and office and now serves more than 263 companies.

The multidisciplinary team is led by three licensed professionals: two attorneys and an economist. The firm brings tax, accounting, employment, and legal services together through one point of contact, rather than limiting its role to paperwork or referring clients to multiple offices.

Services

  • Tax and accounting: monthly bookkeeping; personal income tax, VAT, corporate tax, Aragón inheritance and gift taxes, and recurring filings such as forms 200, 303, and 130; family-business tax planning; family-business treatment under wealth tax; and representation in tax reviews. The department is led by Laura Turlán Ruiz, licensed economist No. 2378.
  • Employment: payroll; permanent, temporary, training, and internship contracts; Social Security registrations and deregistrations; temporary furlough proceedings (ERTE); performance-based and disciplinary dismissals; conciliation before the SMAC labor-mediation service; collective disputes; representation during Labor Inspectorate reviews; and occupational risk prevention. The department is led by Noemi Obón Avellana, attorney No. 4579 and senior occupational risk-prevention specialist.
  • Legal: company formation, bylaws, shareholder agreements, family protocols, commercial contracts, corporate disputes, estates, business succession, and civil and tax representation before Spain’s Tax Agency. The department is led by Teresa Obón Avellana, attorney No. 4844.
  • Small-business advice: coordinated tax, accounting, employment, and legal services for limited companies and corporations with 10–50 employees, civil companies with business activity, and jointly owned property businesses.
  • Self-employed professionals: registration with RETA, Spain’s special Social Security scheme for self-employed workers; personal income tax, VAT, withholding, and forms 130 and 303; accounting; and employment obligations for established independent professionals.

Who the firm serves

Obón Turlán primarily works with established family businesses planning succession or coordinating taxes across generations; small businesses with 10–50 employees and obligations across several areas; independent professionals such as doctors, architects, attorneys, and consultants; and organizations such as associations, foundations, irrigation districts, and student residences. Most clients are based in Aragón, though the firm also serves companies operating in other provinces.
