Estate wines from the Vall del Bitlles

Sabaté i Coca is a family winery whose winegrowing in the Vall del Bitlles, in the Penedès, dates back to 1885. It makes all its wines on the estate from hand-harvested organic grapes of local varieties.

Wines and labels

The winery has two main lines: Castellroig sparkling wines, which carry the Corpinnat designation, and still wines from the Penedès. Its selections include:

• Castellroig sparkling wines: Brut, Brut Nature, and Brut Rosat.
• Sabaté i Coca sparkling wines: Mosset, Josep Coca, and Reserva Familiar.
• Still wines: Xarel·lo Vermell, Terroja, So Blanc, So Serè, So de Mar, So de Rosselles, and So Negre.

Vineyards and approach

The Sabaté Coca estate covers 40 hectares across 18 soil types and 66 plots. The winery presents this as a distinctive geological and microclimatic setting. Its Consciència de Terrer line seeks to express that terroir while respecting biodiversity.

Visits and experiences

Visitors can choose among the Tast Essencial tasting, Visita Essència, a VIP visit, and a harvest experience. The winery also rents event spaces and has a shop with product sets.
