About Allen Carr España

Allen Carr España presents itself as the authorized and certified provider of Allen Carr method seminars in Spain. It says it is the only organization officially authorized to run the seminars in the country. The company also states that its corporate registration is in Peru, from where it manages the rights to operate in Spain and Peru.

The method and its origins

The method was created by Allen Carr, who opened his first London clinic in 1983 after overcoming a reported habit of 100 cigarettes a day. The Allen Carr organization operates in more than 50 countries and says its books have appeared in over 20 languages, with 50 million copies sold. In 1999, Carr was invited to speak about tobacco at the World Health Organization.

Sessions and format

Sessions take place live on Zoom. The company says the format offers the same level of effectiveness as attending in person. The program includes one main session and two follow-up sessions, for up to three sessions in total. It also claims that eight out of ten participants stop smoking after the first session and do not need another. Sessions run approximately from 2–9 p.m.
