About CLIME — Electric Micromobility Innovation Cluster

What CLIME is

CLIME is Spain’s Electric Micromobility Innovation Cluster, an industry organization promoting electric microvehicle businesses. It describes itself as the only Spanish cluster devoted exclusively to this sector and represents industry interests at regional, national and European level. That exclusivity is an organization-published claim.

Work and services

Its activity is grouped into representation, cluster projects and regulatory work:

  • Representation: presenting electric-microvehicle industry interests to regional, Spanish and European bodies
  • Projects: initiatives intended to improve member competitiveness and sector quality, including the battery-technology project SolidScooter
  • Regulation: engagement with public and private bodies on rules supporting industry development

Member offer

CLIME says members gain access to cluster projects, a collaborative network, advice on project, action and event proposals and visibility at sector and regulatory forums. Prospective members should request current membership criteria, fees, governance and measurable deliverables.

Leadership

  • Gorka Pradas, director general: the site cites sustainable-mobility experience at TUVISA, Sener Ingeniería and Ciclogreen and a vice-presidency at FEVEMP
  • Armando D. Hernández, technical director and co-founder: focused on Spanish and European industry development, regulatory harmonisation, safety and innovation
  • Leidy Forero, strategy coordinator: focused on internal leadership and international expansion, particularly links between Latin America and Spain
