jorgesanchez.net is the personal website of Jorge Sánchez Asenjo, a computer science teacher. The author’s background
Jorge Sánchez Asenjo holds a diploma in management information systems, a degree in information systems engineering, and a master’s degree in networks, communications, and content management. He describes his specialties as application development, especially web development, and database management and administration.
After completing his initial studies at the University of Valladolid, he began his career in digital imaging. His capstone project was a Windows-based 3D object editor programmed in C++. He later focused on 2D imaging and tools such as Adobe Photoshop and CorelDRAW.
He spent more than 10 years at FOREMCyL teaching occupational and continuing education courses in basic computing, digital imaging, photo retouching, graphic design, web application development, Java programming, and Oracle database management. For the past 14 years, he has taught vocational and secondary education at Centro Don Bosco-Salesianos in Villamuriel de Cerrato. He coordinates information and communications technology and primarily teaches in the Networked Computer Systems Administration program (ASIR), where he advises second-year students and oversees work-based learning.
Academic and certification programs
Centro Don Bosco-Salesianos is an official Cisco Networking Academy, Oracle Academy, Microsoft Imagine Academy, VMware IT Academy, and Cloudera Academy. This affiliation has qualified Sánchez Asenjo to teach Cisco CCNA certification courses and help students prepare for certifications such as Oracle Certified Associate: Administrator I and Microsoft MTA: HTML5 Application Development Fundamentals.
