SafeRain is a Spanish company that designs and manufactures solutions for ornamental fountains and water shows. It began in 1977 as a seller of irrigation systems. In 1982, its founder, Argimiro Velasco, turned the business toward ornamental fountains. The company is now managed by the founder's second generation and operates on six continents.

Products and Equipment

SafeRain manufactures and sells products under an ISO 9001 quality standard. Its catalog covers three areas:

• Fountain technology: static, dynamic, and musical fountains.
• Fountain solutions: dry fountains, digital curtains, fountain kits, waterfalls, and floating fountains.
• Equipment: nozzles, lighting, water pumps, manifolds, and accessories.

One featured product is the digital water curtain, which combines software, hydraulics, and lighting to create moving shapes and patterns, for indoor or outdoor settings.

Project Design

SafeRain designs custom dancing and walk-through fountains that combine water, lighting, and technology. It prepares simulations and 3D renderings before construction to refine the design and its integration into the setting. The company says specialist engineers support projects through development.

International Projects

The company cites projects in several countries, including a musical fountain at Son Amar in Mallorca; a digital curtain at a Bentley dealership in Dubai; an interactive space at Manipal Academy of Higher Education; a decorative fountain in Cairo; a rain tower in London; digital water curtains in Lima and Melbourne; an ornamental fountain in Moscow; a water show in Miami; and a walk-through fountain in Vancouver.

Facilities and Locations

SafeRain coordinates its management and worldwide sales from a complex of more than 6,000 square meters in Villaluenga de la Sagra, in the La Sagra area of Toledo. The site includes its factory, warehouses, and offices. The company also has a branch in the Levante region.
