Continuous coil coating

ALUMASA (Aluminios del Maestre, S.A.) is a Spanish company founded in 1998 that continuously coil-coats aluminum. Its main plant is in Villafranca de los Barros, Badajoz, and it has been part of Grupo López Bolaños since 2002.

Integrated production

The company manages the production chain from aluminum scrap to finished coated coil. It says it is the only company in the world to produce, manufacture, and paint its own aluminum. The process includes:

• Recycling aluminum scrap
• Continuous casting
• Cold rolling
• Tension leveling
• Continuous coil coating

It invested in an aluminum foundry in 2014, continuous casting in 2017, and cold rolling in 2021, allowing it to handle the full transformation process in-house.

Products and applications

ALUMASA supplies coil-coated aluminum in a wide range of colors and finishes, as well as aluminum sheet processing. Its products serve industrial, construction, and architectural markets, with an emphasis on durability and corrosion resistance.

Certifications and quality

The company holds ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 certifications issued by Bureau Veritas. It also provides an ethics channel and a customer area with technical documents, including RAL color charts, EN 1396 and EN 13523 standards, and general terms of sale.
