Environmental education in the Penedès

Quatre Passes - Serveis Ambientals SCCL is a cooperative based in Vilafranca del Penedès, Barcelona. It develops educational, technical, and visitor programs that introduce people to the Penedès region's natural and cultural heritage.

Programs and services

Outdoors learning and local heritage

School programs include outings to protected areas such as Parc del Foix and Parc dels Talls. Activities include observing pine forests, wetlands, and holm-oak woods; outdoor scavenger hunts in Castellet; walks between medieval castles; the Camí del Vi route; and activities at the Molí del Foix botanical garden. Workshops include making natural air fresheners and building a home garden using reused containers.
