Youth education in Vila-seca
Esplai Esclop is a youth recreation and education organization based in Vila-seca, Tarragona. Since 1984, it has held Saturday afternoon activities and organized other programs throughout the year. Its team is made up of volunteer counselors. The group belongs to Esplac, Esplais Catalans, a secular and progressive association that uses volunteer-led education about children's rights to support social change.
Activities and programs
The organization offers activities for children, young people, and families, including excursions, overnight camps, camping trips, scavenger hunts, workshops, town festivals, and family discovery games. One example was a family discovery game held on January 26, with a maximum of eight people per group, recommended for ages 3 and up, and priced at €1 per participant. The proceeds went to Marató de TV3.
