Prosol Coffee has received funding from the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF), the Center for the Development of Industrial Technology (CDTI), and other organizations for research and development projects. These include developing new intense and flavored coffee capsule varieties (2017–2018); an instant coffee that releases the aroma of ground coffee when the jar is opened (2020–2021); environmentally friendly home-compostable capsules (2020–2021); and a 2024 project to recover and reuse aromas to reduce the use of virgin raw materials in the production of agglomerated instant coffee. The company has also received support for installing renewable thermal energy systems under Spain's Recovery, Transformation, and Resilience Plan.
