Fundación Jorge Guillén

A home for literary archives in Valladolid

Fundación Jorge Guillén was established on March 14, 1992. Its governing board includes the Castilla y León regional government, the Valladolid provincial council, the city council, and the University of Valladolid. The foundation promotes artistic and literary creation through events, research, and publications.

Jorge Guillén and 38 other writers

Its archive supports the study of poet Jorge Guillén and 38 other writers who donated documentary and bibliographic collections. The materials are held at the Biblioteca de Castilla y León. By preserving manuscripts, letters, photographs, and books, the foundation aims to keep these collections accessible to future generations.
