What AVTPAL is

Asociación Valenciana de Técnicos de Personal de la Administración Local (AVTPAL) is a non-profit created in 2003 for professionals responsible for human-resources management in councils and other local authorities. Its original scope is the Valencian Community, while it also seeks links with professionals in other regions and international bodies.

Activities and services

AVTPAL serves as a professional network and reference point for local public-sector HR managers. It provides advice, organises and participates in conferences, courses and technical workshops, and circulates publications and legislation. Members have a private area and access to a collection of more than 1,000 public-management documents.

Conferences and events

The association organises technical meetings. The source lists the fourth Jornada Blanca AVTPAL for 5–6 February 2026 on new challenges in public employment and HR management; the 2024 Professional Career conferences; the second Jornada Blanca at La Beneficencia museum center on 1–2 February 2024; and a Benidorm workshop on performance assessment and objectives held on 30 June 2023.
