Three Resources for Educational Guidance

OriEdu brings together three resources: OriEdu Wiki, OriEdu Courses, and OriEdu Radio. The project was created by Claudio Otero Romero, a psychologist and secondary-school teacher specializing in educational guidance. Its documented activity dates from 2018 onward.

School Counseling and Teaching

Otero Romero earned a psychology degree from the University of Salamanca and a master’s degree in secondary teacher training, specializing in educational guidance, from the University of Extremadura. He has worked as a school counselor at IES Loustau-Valverde in Valencia de Alcántara since 2019 and as the school’s secretary since 2023. He also tutors psychology undergraduates for Spain’s National Distance Education University (UNED).

Training and Educational Projects

His work includes training sessions for education professionals, including workshops for newly appointed school guidance staff and a presentation on applying magic to teaching. He has coordinated and contributed to school innovation projects in educational radio and peer support. His earlier experience includes counseling roles at schools in Cáceres and Badajoz and research work with Plena Inclusión Extremadura.
