Walma Dynamic Group (WDG) is a Spanish multinational headquartered in Tres Cantos, Madrid. The group describes itself as an innovation-focused technology solutions company, with four main business areas—engineering, electric mobility, cloud, and internationalization—alongside an open-innovation team and a venue for hybrid events.

Four business areas

• Engineering: end-to-end project management, from preliminary studies and engineering design through procurement, construction, operations, and maintenance. The group works across six sectors and operates internationally.
• Internationalization: consulting to help companies take products and services into overseas markets. Its stated expertise includes supply chain management, Industry 4.0, and training and operations and maintenance for infrastructure, industrial, and telecommunications projects.
• Electric mobility: research and development of mobility solutions based on emerging technologies.

Open innovation and startups

Walma Open Innovation (WOi) is the group’s innovation department. It seeks new solutions and works with corporate partners. Its stated areas of interest include electric mobility, such as personal mobility vehicles for sports and adventure; cloud services, including contact center as a service (CCaaS), artificial intelligence, analytics, and machine learning; and energy, including renewables, self-consumption, and second-life batteries. The group’s WO! Innovation program aims, according to the company, to work each year with 100 early-stage or growth-stage startups whose products are already on the market.

Hybrid Space

WDG’s Hybrid Space is a customizable event venue of more than 1,000 square meters for online, hybrid, and in-person events. The company offers support from strategy and creative development through production and implementation, with technology partners.
