Member protection and community services

Associació Montepio Terres de l'Ebre is a mutual association based in Tortosa that brings members together and provides advice and protection across several areas. Its work combines insurance and legal services with social, recreational, and educational programs.

Member services

The association offers basic and premium membership tiers with different levels of coverage:

• Legal advice
• Insurance advice and policy placement
• Support with claims and fines
• Administrative services
• Recreational activities and training
• Mobility, road safety, and member advocacy services (premium membership)
• Financial assistance (premium membership)
• Senior services, including medical and hospital care, companionship, residential care, mobile telecare and home alarms, and funeral insurance (premium membership)

+Montepio card

Members receive a +Montepio card. At participating stores and organizations listed in the Services Guide, the card can be used for discounts and other benefits.

Community activities

The association organizes the Gran Festa del Montepio, held in July and now one of the region's notable summer events. It also plans cultural outings, such as a September 27 trip to Barcelona to see the musical The Phantom of the Opera, and offers training activities with the Open University of Catalonia (UOC). The 2025 Festa del Montepio was held on June 28 with support from a €2,302.80 grant from the Tarragona Provincial Council and the association's own funds.
