Industrial and Automotive Lubricants

Valpercan is a Spanish company based in Torrevieja, Alicante. It began manufacturing industrial lubricants and specialty products for the textile, rubber, and metal-braiding industries in 1964. After Spain liberalized lubricant manufacturing, the company expanded into domestic and international markets with new lines of motor oils, gear oils, and greases. It now exports to additional countries.

Products and Brands

The company organizes its products into four main areas:

• Automotive lubricants: Motor oils under Valthor, automatic-transmission fluids under Hidroval, and manual-transmission oils under Engraval.
• Industrial lubricants: Release agents (Fibroceval); chain lubricants (Lubrival); textile spin finishes (Valcolor, Valtex); hydraulic-system fluids (Frenoval, Hidroval, Martival, Paloíl); gear and bearing lubricants (Engraval); and greases (Grasval, Valrust, Palgrease).
• Automotive maintenance: Antifreeze and windshield-washer fluids (Paraval, Sin Marca) and detergents (Carroceval, Ligraval, Multival, Sin Marca).
• Specialty products: Additives (Adival, Sin Marca); food-industry products (Engraval, Valgras, Grasval); rubber plasticizers (Plasticcaucho); cutting fluids and oils (Refrival, Valtal); process oils (Valgras); heat-transfer oils (Valterm); pneumatic-hammer oils (Martinval); and coolants (Refrival, Valtal).
