A social cooperative focused on well-being

Cerc@ is a nonprofit, worker-owned, first-tier social initiative cooperative. Its work centers on people’s well-being, with particular attention to those experiencing vulnerability. The organization combines social services with employment support.

Core services

• Home Assistance Service (SAD): In-home support for people in their usual living environment.
• Employment Promotion Service: Employment support, including a job placement agency.

History and partnerships

In 2012, the cooperative signed a strategic agreement with Fundació Comunitat i Valors, an organization established within the framework of Fundació Mercè i Fontanilles and based in Tarragona. The agreement aims to address challenges arising from socioeconomic changes affecting the delivery of social services. The two organizations had already worked together through social action networks.
