Cadena 88
Ehlis operates Cadena 88, Spain’s first buying and services group for independent hardware stores, founded in 1988. The network now includes more than 1,600 locations across the country. Ehlis provides specialized marketing tools and centralized purchasing to help member stores compete.
Locations and Partnerships
Ehlis operates logistics centers in Sant Andreu de la Barca, Barcelona; Illescas, Toledo; Tenerife; and Gran Canaria, as well as cash-and-carry centers in Valencia and Mallorca. It has also expanded through investments in CECOFERSA, a buying group for industrial supplies, and BdB, a buying group for building materials, strengthening its position in Spain and entering the Portuguese market.

It has also invested in logistics infrastructure, including a new automated distribution center in Illescas supported by Regional Economic Incentives from Spain’s Ministry of Finance.
