Sedical S.A. is a Spanish company founded in February 1977 and headquartered in Sondika, Bizkaia. It sells and integrates high-efficiency energy and energy-saving systems for residential and industrial facilities. Sedical describes itself as a systems integrator, combining products and services into complete solutions.
Products and Brands
Sedical distributes equipment from German manufacturer Weishaupt, including burners, condensing boilers, solar-thermal panels, and heat pumps. It also sells plate heat exchangers; controls and regulation systems in collaboration with Honeywell; pumps; degassing systems; hydraulic balancing equipment; meters; and expansion and storage systems. Sedical says it was the first company to sell plate heat exchangers for climate-control applications in Spain in 1981. It introduced automatic hydraulic balancing in 1996 and synchronous-motor, permanent-magnet pumps in 2001. In 2007, it launched SediBox®, followed by SediREC® in 2013, a heat-recovery system for swimming pools. More recently, it commissioned Spain’s first Weishaupt Biblock heat pump and decarbonized its Sondika facilities using Nexa Repsol HVO fuel.
Network and Coverage
Sedical has 12 company-owned branches, six exclusive distributors, and 10 authorized third-party technical-service providers, with coverage in Spain and Portugal. Its branches are interconnected and can remotely supervise installations. Sedical is certified to ISO 9001 by AENOR.
Services
Along with equipment supply, Sedical offers after-sales and technical service, training, Weishaupt spare parts, and engineering software for combustion, heating, solar energy, pumping, controls, heat exchangers, degassing, meters, pool dehumidification, expansion, and flow balancing. Its industrial solutions also cover cogeneration, trigeneration, absorption, wind energy, biomass, and solar thermal applications.
