Community mental health and addiction support

Sol del Solsonès is an association for families of people with mental health conditions and substance use disorders in the Solsonès region of Lleida. It operates the “Un Raig de Sol” daytime activity center and a social club, and works in the community.

Recent activities

The association organizes workshops and outings for participants, including music therapy, body percussion, paleontology, fraud prevention, guided walks through Solsona’s old town, mushroom foraging, and celebrations such as the Christmas lunch and Carnival. It also runs a free support group for family members and caregivers and takes part in regional mental health events.

Transparency

The organization publishes balance sheets and profit-and-loss statements for 2018 through 2022, along with a service charter and organizational chart.

Partnerships

It has received donations from the Cofradía de la Mare de Déu del Claustre and support from Fundación La Caixa and CaixaBank. The website is supported by the Lleida Provincial Council.
