Refractaria, SAU is a Spanish manufacturer and supplier of refractory ceramic products based in Siero, Asturias. It has operated since 1948 and has more than 75 years of experience. Since November 2018, it has been part of Japan’s Krosaki Harima Corporation, one of the world’s largest refractory groups.

Production Capacity

The company’s facilities can produce 60,000 metric tons of refractory materials per year, with more than 1,000 different grades. Its range includes alumina and high-alumina products and other specialty grades made from aluminas, andalusites, bauxites, chamottes, zircons, cordierites, corundums, and mullites.

Refractaria manufactures custom shapes, bricks, castables, mortars, and refractory and insulating cements. Its products serve industries such as:
