Family Business with Asturian Roots
Suministros Cárnicos García Poo opened in Siero, Asturias, in the 1960s. Its founder, Carlos García Poo, selected Castilian lamb and game and sold them from a small shop in Oviedo. In 2001, after expanding its product range, the business grew from a small family shop into the company it is today.
Meat Processing and Production
The company makes meat products and has facilities to handle meat throughout the production process. It oversees each stage, from the meat’s origin to refrigerated storage, processing and packaging in its cutting room, and final delivery using its own fleet of vehicles.
