Respiratory medicine in southern Spain

Asociación de Neumología y Cirugía Torácica del Sur (Neumosur) is a nonprofit medical and scientific organization of respiratory medicine and thoracic surgery professionals. Its area includes Andalusia, Extremadura, Ceuta, and Melilla. Active since 1976, it now brings together hundreds of physicians through an association and a foundation.

Research and professional services

Neumosur promotes medical research and scientific exchange among specialists. Its regular activities include conferences, continuing education, working groups, and scientific publications. It also has a private professional area, a job board, and a section of information for patients.

Conferences and training

Neumosur holds regular conferences. Its 53rd congress is scheduled for Punta Umbría, Huelva, from April 8–10, 2027. The association also offers educational activities and resources for medical residents.
