Reactivos Para Diagnóstico S.L. (RPD) is a Spanish company that produces microbiological culture media, supplements, and additives for quality-control, research, and production laboratories. It manufactures under its own brand and provides contract OEM production for other companies. As a second line of business, RPD designs and builds equipment for industrial production of prepared culture media, including plate and tube fillers and media preparators.

History

Daniel Asensio founded the company in 1995 in a 100-square-meter space in L’Hospitalet de Llobregat, Barcelona. From the beginning, RPD focused on OEM culture-media manufacturing and established agreements with domestic and international brands in the industry.
