Saxun is the commercial brand of Giménez Ganga, a Spanish industrial company that has designed and manufactured solar-shading, enclosure, and decorative systems since 1959. With more than 65 years of experience, the company says its products are made entirely in Spain. Its network includes 23 locations in Spain, one in Italy, and commercial operations in more than 70 countries.

Manufacturing Capacity

The company reports 135,000 m² of production and storage space, more than 1,000 employees, and a fleet of 130 company vehicles. Its facilities include seven aluminum presses rated from 1,800 to 4,000 tons; eight aluminum-slat roll-forming lines; nine PVC extrusion lines; two horizontal and two vertical powder-coating plants; a ceiling-profile line; a shutter-box profile line; and two window and door manufacturing lines.

Residential and Commercial Projects

Saxun serves both residential and professional customers. Its projects include installations at hotels, restaurants, cafés, offices, and homes. One example is the installation of bioclimatic pergolas at the INNSiDE by Meliá Alicante. Architects, designers, and installers can access BIM files, technical documents, finish options, and a quoting tool.

Certifications and Industry Initiatives

The company is a Silver Member of the Healthy Skin Foundation, part of the Spanish Academy of Dermatology and Venereology (AEDV), and one of seven founding companies of an association that promotes solar-shading solutions in buildings.
