Leather Goods Manufacturing

Possum is a Spanish manufacturer of leather belts, bags, and accessories. It began in 1955 in a leather-goods workshop in Sax, Alicante. Three generations later, all production remains at the company’s own facilities in the same town, which cover more than 7,500 square meters. Alongside its own brand, Possum manufactures products for international fashion houses under confidentiality agreements and does not disclose their names.

The company works with materials such as box leather, saffiano, vaqueta, and exotic hides, selecting each piece before cutting.

In-House Production

Possum carries out every stage at its Sax facilities: cutting, skiving, hand painting, embossing, and sewing. The company applies the same quality-control standards to every piece as those required by the major fashion houses it supplies. In addition to its own catalog, it offers private-label development for third-party collections.

Recognition and Reach

Possum took part in the July 2026 INDX National Menswear Show at Cranmore Park in Solihull, United Kingdom. Its profile lists 58 Google reviews and an overall “Excellent” rating. JJGIL S.L.U. has also participated in the ICEX-Next Export Initiation Program, with support from ICEX and co-funding from the European Regional Development Fund.
